Your mission
As part of our platform team you will work on building the Android app featuring multimodal (touch and voice) UI for AI-enhanced communication and content creation.
Your profile
We are looking for a senior software engineer to kickstart our Android efforts. We have built a Design System for capturing UI/UX ideas, and we use code generation to deploy it on specific mobile devices. The platform-independent business logic is written in Rust and C++ and is exposed to the app via a C-API. The perfect candidate should be able to design the app architecture, set up development and deployment infrastructure, and lead Android app development.
Responsibilities
- Design architecture of the Android app
- Contribute to defining Android app rollout strategy
- Contribute to designing UX/UI of the Android app
- Define implementation tasks
- Lead implementation of the Android app
- Enable others to contribute to the Android app development
- Contribute to platform-independent component design and development
- Own app distribution pipeline
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Android app development
- Solid knowledge of CS and systems programming
- Proficiency in programming in at least one of the relevant programming languages
- Experience with build and test automation
- Experience with or interest in learning Rust
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
